Bright Creators - August 19 (Transcript)
@0:01 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
This meeting is being recorded. Welcome, everyone. Welcome, Mary. to Catherine. Welcome, Sarah. Welcome, Lorraine. Welcome, James. And make sure that your name is in the Zoom name box.
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Susan. A happy full moon, guys, is a full super moon, a super blue moon. I absolutely love the change of the moon, feel the energy, great excuses just to step into newness or reflect on the past.
Social media also loves the moon phases. You talk about the moon, talk about the full moon, new moon, some energies, people love it, people love it.
Alright, so if you can turn your camera on, feel free to it on, if not, also, okay, you are fully on that choice.
It's in my sign, Love it. That means it's going to be an extra good full moon for you. Alright, welcome.
Good. Yeah, full moon is a great time to reflect on the last month, so sometimes the best way to look towards the future is to look at the past and to learn from the past.
I don't know about you guys, but it's very easy to just continue doing things that aren't working. whether it's in social media, whether it's in business, whether it's within how we treat our body, it's really easy to continue habits subconsciously.
So really good to look back on it. I've been doing a lot that lately, looking back on how has my consistency been?
And whenever I notice a dip in sales, I'm like, has there anything else been dipping in my life? And usually something else is dipping.
And what I recognized was my consistency was dipping. So I spent a lot of time with bright creators and getting it together and gathering everything.
And I've been working on this for the past two years. This bright creators came to me during an ayahuasca ceremony.
And it was just like a soul calling. And just before, like a month before launch, I was so focused on it that other things started to not get my attention.
And I started to notice that things started to dip. Whether it was follower count, whether it was money coming in, I'm like, man, why is the money not as good as it has been?
And I'm like, oh, wait, I haven't been as consistent as I have been. So this last week, I've been just incredibly consistent with creating content, putting on all the social media pro, like really like diligent and everything.
And it's like the days have been remarkable, the money has been flowing back again. And it's just felt pretty extravagant, correlating the physical consistency with my day and how much money's coming in.
Today already a $1,200 day, woke up today and it was around $900, like to wake up and have that money already flowing in is a really awesome feeling.
And that's all through the automation, the automated setup, everything they'll be teaching. But consistency is so, so, so important.
So I want to do some check ins, because this has been the very first It's full week, and this is just a check-in, how you're feeling, how you're doing, what's coming up for you, I'll write the prompts in here.
How consistent have you been, what's not working for you, basically wherever you're at, and wherever you're at is perfect.
This isn't a competition on who can be the most consistent person. This just where you're at. So if you couldn't do anything, and it just didn't work, and you're trying, it just wasn't working, that's where you're at, totally cool.
We have to embrace where we're at, with the love we're at, and that's how you then evolve into the next level.
And if you guys were just hopping on the call while we chatting about it, today is a super moon, super full moon.
So nice full moon energy in the air, and it's Lorraine's full moon too. So, she's going to sprinkle some of those good vibes on us.
@6:04 - Stephanie Banner
we'll go first, Michael, if you want, if you're ready.
@6:08 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Go for it. Yeah. So, this is the check-in. So, basically, how you are feeling. How are you feeling? What emotions are alive in your body?
How was your last week? What's coming up with what's coming up within you for that? And then give yourself a number, just based on this last week.
How was your last week? Maybe was like a one. I just wasn't that great. Or was that 10? You absolutely killed it, and it was phenomenal.
So, those are the three prompts. I just dropped them in the chat. So, Wayne and Stephanie, go for it.
@6:41 - Stephanie Banner
We're feeling happy today, today is Wayne's birthday.
@6:45 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Hey, happy birthday.
@6:47 - Stephanie Banner
Thank you. We've been celebrating in a very us way. We went and got massages this morning, and worked out a little bit, just have been.
We did a live this morning.
@6:57 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
So, we're creating, too.
@7:00 - Stephanie Banner
So... Okay, we're feeling good. We're feeling relaxed and we're feeling really excited about the future. So I would say relaxed yet excited.
Do you want to talk about our week? Yeah, so our week, we started our own page for about us.
Our own account on TikTok as well as on Instagram and our first video that we posted on TikTok is over 60,000 views.
So it did really well. It was actually one that we had put on an account previously. So we really didn't put a lot of effort in it to be honest, but we did get it created.
we went from, that was a, when we have 30 followers, when we just opened up it on Tuesday and it's over 700 now, just from creating those.
feeling really good about that excited. We've been posting three times a week to that three times a day. I'm sorry, three times a day and stuff.
I think we're very happy with that quick response and everything, so we're going to start, you know, just trying to stick to that three times a day, as well as trying to go live a lot more often.
And we also opened up a new Instagram, along with that as well. Not as good as success there. So I think we're with Instagram.
But overall, I would give us probably a 10 just because, you know, high by being great energy for the week, as well as success on our consistency opening of the our account, our joint account.
@8:42 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah. Beautiful celebrating you guys.
@8:45 - Stephanie Banner
That's huge.
@8:46 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I mean, yeah, all of those. I love that you had instant success your accounts growing quickly that you started a new account for this new business that you're creating together.
Right. that you're posting so, so much. So consistent, very, very, very, very cool. Wayne, do you have an intention for this year, for this new year, your soul For Yeah, for your birthday.
@9:12 - Stephanie Banner
I would say that my intention is to get to the creative joint creativity to where I am able to retire from my government job, as my goal in this year, is to be a full-time creator with my wife, and so when I have more time, not just creating and enjoying that aspect of it, but be more free and have more hours just to spend together and be able to do the things that we want to do in our day without doing it for the man, in a sense.
I want to do it for myself.
@9:45 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
want to build our empire versus building somebody else's. That's my goal. Beautiful intention, and, wow, yeah, entirely possible for you guys.
@9:54 - Stephanie Banner
You guys are on the right path. Thank you. Yeah. I'm going there maybe.
@10:01 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome. Who would like to go next? Feel free to unmute yourself.
@10:10 - James Guiry
Alright, do it.
@10:15 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
You hear me?
@10:16 - James Guiry
What's up? Hey, what's going on this week? I haven't posted anything. However, I do feel like I have some victories.
know, so what I had done is I've started to kind of script out, not exactly what I'm going to say, but kind of get a flow of really what I'm kind of with the messages and you know, reading that story worthy book has really kind of made me actually take a step back and actually go all in and kind of really looking for like, am I just going to just talk about whatever or am I going to talk about maybe stuff that means something to me where I have like that five second, you know, that moment, right?
And then I could, I'm actually, this morning, I was reading more about the book, like, how did that five second moment, the ending in play, and then build your little
story around that, whatever that is. So that's what I'm doing, and I've actually created today, was really cool that I can show you here, but basically, I don't know if you can see it here, but I've created like all these little 12 second videos.
It's gonna be probably three or four minutes, 12 second videos and kind of a general blueprint of what I wanna say, but I kind of been playing with a TikTok app and have an idea of how I'm gonna do that.
Today I'm gonna do like a rough draft, not post it, wanna see how it looks, and then hopefully get it out tomorrow, and maybe my goal is like once a week right now, until I can get up to speed, but I'm looking for more like, telling the story, the quality over the quantity for now, and kind of go from there.
So overall, I would say, I'd say give myself an eight. I have some really good sessions and I've been building stories, so I'll have a session with a client, two hour session, past life session, and then I'll create a story, take a lot of notes, and then I'm using AI to help me kind of clean it up.
It's still a story of their life, past life. I've had these little mini stories now, like eight of them created in one week.
So now I all these stories that I can share with a client also like have myself and I'm looking for those little five second moments in each of those stories.
So it's building and it's growing little tree, right?
@12:15 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
know, I'm not that big right about here.
@12:17 - James Guiry
Yeah, maybe tree anyways. I give myself an eight out of 10, a B plus B plus, all right. There you go.
@12:24 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Amazing, amazing, James. Yeah, I love it. I love that you're doing it in your own way, your own time.
And it's like there are some people who just like putting it out there and just like trying all these things and just like allowing themselves to express is that's how they're going to get to where they need to be.
And for you, it seems like your archetype is more like focused and really planning and creating and building something that is maybe more produced and more well thought out.
And then from there, really getting used to it and like, oh, it'll get easier and easier over time, which then you can start to create.
more content.
@13:01 - James Guiry
And I've realized that over time is like, with anything, it's like you've got to kind of, you know, get used to it, get the rhythm of it, and all of a sudden it starts to flow, like especially that AI app, it's not called motion leap, but I was like, I used to play with it all the time.
And today I was like, okay, I can edit this and now I'm creating like all these, I'm creating a lot more videos very fast.
So building a little mini library and so I'm like, okay, I'm building, I'm getting better, right? It's this repetition.
And also I got a little floor lamp here, so there we go. So the little, the stand up one.
So those are cool. Anyways, sure that.
@13:35 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Very cool.
@13:36 - James Guiry
Is it a change color? it just a? It does. I have the, yeah, it's like different colors. I like the warm setting.
I like the rainbow, you know, one you like as well, but I got to get it back in the corner.
I'll probably take it home. I'm like, where am I going to do my like videos at? And I don't need to have like my office, like I do at home.
That's why I came to the office. I need to bring some lights back with me. And I'm going to do a little.
Something where like you mentioned like when you do them you take your notes, which I love like I'll run or I'll take notes I'm like, okay, that's a good story idea, but then you got to shoot it, right?
And then like do I want to come to the office? Maybe I could do it at home like you're doing it at home So that's what I like to make it easier just to kind of get it in get it done But also playing with the TikTok app of like, you know, the overlay feature and then like, you know Like the captions like all these little things you don't think about you're like, oh, I gotta do that do that do that and then play with it, you know, and then I Get something out.
promise you just you know, I don't want to I want to be okay, to be like because once I put it out there.
I can't change it, right?
@14:38 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I'm kind of stuck with that So, you know, yeah, well, you can always hide it So I have I've taken video ideas and I've made multiple different iterations and styles and intros of the video and just uploaded them All and just try to see like one I created an intro that I thought was like really good And then when I made the rest of the video, I realized that there's
actually a really good intro in the in the middle of the video that got into it fast. So I released one and then I released another one where I got rid of the entire intro and just had that like middle intro and the middle interact to work better.
So you can doesn't have to be perfect for social media. You can try a bunch of stuff and you can do the same exact story, the same exact video in multiple ways.
No one's really gonna notice. I've posted the same exact videos multiple times and they've gone viral multiple times.
@15:30 - James Guiry
So and what one question just will have you is when you're posting right so you kind of want to use the app right so using the app it's functions if you were to insert video of you let's say I had a video me at the office with say DSLR for like a couple sec maybe like 10 seconds switching back to the camera app would that mess with the algorithm or is it only like using the you know the front facing or back facing camera for the majority of the video.
@15:59 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Does that make sense? Yeah, there are creators that shoot in really nice cameras that create really beautiful content who go wildly viral.
Really? So I think that even if you grab the footage and you upload it and you add it to everything else, I think if you're uploading it into the app, I think the algorithm is, I don't think it's going to treat that any differently than anything else.
@16:21 - James Guiry
right, cool.
@16:23 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I'll play with it for sure. Thank you. Yeah, lots of stuff to play with. Like, for example, what I share, what I speak, Lincoln Bio is kind of like this like, thou shall not say this on TikTok because TikTok really wants to keep people in their ecosystem where whatever you sell, TikTok gets their 30% commission.
And so, yeah, like if you type Lincoln Bio in a comment to you, it looks like it's there, but everyone else, they won't be able to see it.
TikTok will just make it invisible. So I've been experimenting with speaking it and Saying go to my profile and find my link tree.
You'll find it there. You know that that doesn't get taken away But I have tried linking by as well lately Things seem to be opening up for it.
So yeah, I've seen certain creators lately So there's a lot of experimentation with the algorithm and like what is it actually like what doesn't it like?
So yeah experimentation experimentation and James when you release your stuff if you want to try something else and and you know I know Dedicating a lot of time towards a single video sometimes feels like if it if it works if it doesn't work It you know, there's there's pressure there But I just want to like try to eat as much pressure as possible Like always looking to the next thing and trying different things and allowing allowing the flow and if you're gonna do let's say you want to do a part two of something and you don't have it made You put like, you know, follow me part two coming or put, you know For part two I didn't even say part two's coming to say go to part two and if Dazimin made yet at some point it will Right, that's a great way to get followers because yeah
people are watching a video, especially if it's longer video, if it's too short, I've done this where I've made a video that's too short and I'm fall for part two, they're like, why don't you just include it in this?
But if it's long enough, like over two minutes or so, then two and a half minutes, then usually it goes over well, and you give them enough information on video.
And then you can say, okay, it's coming, we're going to be talking about this, this and this, they're going to find that, just tap that follow button.
And yeah, people will be like, I don't want to lose this guy.
@18:27 - James Guiry
That's I'm going to do. So I'll try it that way.
@18:30 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Cool.
@18:30 - James Guiry
Nice.
@18:31 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Love it. you. And then when you create part two, make part two, as if you never saw part one, you could still have a fulfilling full video.
@18:39 - James Guiry
Cool.
@18:43 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome.
@18:44 - Sarah Apke
I would like to go next with her to unmute yourself.
@18:46 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
can go next.
@18:48 - Sarah Apke
Go for it, Sarah. Yes, I guess this more for me is like working up courage and getting used to like being on the camera, stuff like that.
So very still very early on phase. I've been healing from chronic illnesses for a long time, and I've noticed that flare-ups happen during times of change, and I've been discovering that it's like, like my body's way of like a safety mechanism to be like, hey, maybe you're doing too much, like calm down, let's not like get worse again, but so I'm doing a lot of like, a lot of internal stuff has come up to like, just even get me to post anything or film anything.
So, but of course, for last week helped a lot with like the imposter syndrome, you know, knowing, because I do know more than 10% than I think a lot of people do and what I want to talk about, and I would, so I give my number probably like 2.5, you know, better than, you know, I feel like, you know, it's zero, so 2.5, I think is like, I'm making at least some progress, not where I would want to be, but giving myself that grace for where I am now.
@19:59 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah. Yeah. Celebrating that 2.5. Yeah celebrating being above a zero that's phenomenal So yeah, what would you say is you said kind of almost like there's something holding you back or you're holding yourself back What would you say what's coming up when maybe you want to make a video, but but something comes up?
@20:21 - Sarah Apke
a couple the two different things I would say well one is like the flare up so like the chronic illness would just make me very very tired or Like I just feel like I'm not a functional person So like the idea of trying to put energy into a good video just seems impossible Another part too is that I'm still a little bit nervous about putting my face on the internet Just from like passive use of relationships and things like that like there's certain people that I don't want to see me But then again, I don't want to live my life limited by that.
So it's kind of that kind of Mm-hmm.
@20:59 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, and you can also, you know, find them on social media and block them preemptively so that they can't see anything that you have.
@21:07 - Sarah Apke
True, if I can find them. Yeah, I feel like it's more going to be one of those cases where they likely don't have social media, but someone else that knows both of us will send it to them sort of thing.
Yeah, I don't want to be limited by that because it has been like over a decade. So it's like, you know, it was just working a lot of like internal stuff working through.
@21:31 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, yeah, and what what what comes up if they were to see it, like what comes up within you?
@21:37 - Sarah Apke
Um, I guess just kind of fear that they might try to like get in contact with me again in some way.
Um, like I'd rather just not think that they don't exist. But yeah, I guess fear.
@21:52 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, yeah, I hear you. Yeah, there's the I always say go. Have a nice easy block button when it comes if anyone's ever a certain vibe I'm just a media block like I don't want that energy.
I like that There is this for me. I definitely had That fear of people seeing me Specifically family members because I'm sharing about like past lives and things that are That are like different than you know my Midwest Like go to church every Sunday like who's this weirdo kind of you know So I definitely had a lot come up and I know that comes up for lot of people How many people here just out of curiosity how many people here have like a fear of when if you share yourself like what if That person sees it or someone I know sees it I feel like my fear is more of like people I know like I'd rather stranger see me than people I know see me Yeah Yeah Yeah, and boundaries are also very important
So two things. One, what I learned about like the family who lives out there who might judge me is that there's a certain point where something clicked where I realized that if they have an issue with it, they have to make the first move.
They have to come to me and say what you're doing, we don't support that. And if they do, I can be like, thank you so much for sharing.
I appreciate you sharing where you're coming from. You know, later. So they have to and think they don't, you know, like no one does.
And there is this freedom where it's like, oh, like, I know there's a lot of people judging me. Like, I know there's family members who think I'm kind of weird for what I share.
But the moment I realize that they have to make the move, that was the moment I realized that if they have an issue, that is 100% their problem.
They have to sit in that judgment and they're judging them itself because they're judging others like weird stuff going on their own.
psychology and like synonym prayers and blessings for that. But really getting into that mindset created this freedom and yeah, now I've transcended that to where that doesn't really, I don't really care what they think or any of that.
Certainly having some success when you have followers who really love what you put out there, all of a sudden that does bring confidence as well, which is really nice.
And then the second thing is boundaries. Boundaries are so, so, so important and I can't speak to these relationships that you had in the past, but setting strong boundaries if anyone ever enters your sphere who aren't invited, who aren't allowed to be in there, quickly blocking them, clearly setting that they're essentially not welcoming your life.
Your situation does sound like there might have been some intensity to it, but you know, just for everyone, like, have strong boundaries, you know, if someone does come up to you, a family member who's like, I don't like what you're posting, like, you can say, well, you know, if you don't like what I'm posting, don't follow me.
I'm expressing my soul and not what I'm doing. And this is, you know, what brings me joy in life.
yeah, being really clear with people, boundaries are remarkably important. I've entered past a couple relationships I've entered the person that I was with didn't have necessarily that strong of boundaries.
And I saw people in their life that were like not treating them well, but they were like old friends and they were just still there because of that.
And I was like, you got to speak to it. And once that happened, spoke to it, the person was out of their life, because they didn't vibrate.
They can't be told what to do. They're used to controlling. They're used to all of that. So once they are told a specific boundary, if they vibrate out, that's amazing.
And then newness opens up, it creates that vacuum.
@26:03 - Sarah Apke
I like that vibrate out.
@26:05 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, it's super cool. Yeah, it's like when you're authentically you, they just can't handle it. The ones who aren't meant to be around you can't handle it.
But as a recovering people, please or myself, I have just like, oh, I'll make everything good for everyone around me.
All of a sudden, there's people I don't actually want around me. But when I'm like, no, this is who I am, and this is how I share this.
This is what I talk about. And these are the boundaries that I have.
@26:33 - Sarah Apke
Some people just can't deal with that and they just vibrate it with it. Good night. Great, thank you.
@26:40 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, Sarah. Whoever would like to go next, free to unmute yourself.
@26:49 - Kathryn
I can go next.
@26:51 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Can you hear me? Awesome. For me, there you are, Catherine.
@26:56 - Kathryn
Yeah, go for it, Catherine.
@26:57 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Can you hear me?
@26:58 - Kathryn
Yes. Um, so I had a slow week and then I got kind of in my groove again and started posting videos.
And I think I posted five. They're all consistently getting like 500 views. So, or up to 1000. So, not anything earthshower, but encouraging.
And I too have found not a lot of action on Instagram, but mostly tiktok. And I have a bunch of questions about all of it.
Like, the videos are taking me a really long time to make. So, I'm definitely have a learning curve with tiktok and the editing.
So, I'm hoping that it gets faster or there's other tools I can use to help with the editing. So, because I think I spend hours on one alone.
I also only have like 30 followers. And so, I don't I don't know what like a normal trajectory is, but clearly I haven't nailed anything quite yet.
But I feel optimistic. I feel excited. I'd say this week has been like a seven or eight for me, and a lot of other stuff going on with my kids.
My daughter just moved to Paris yesterday, and so lots going on. I started that story-wise book, which I don't think I'm quite as far as James, but I'm enjoying it.
@28:37 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Good. Yeah, that's a great, great, great book. Yeah, I love that you started reading that. It's full of so much information, even if took a single thing from it and implemented it into your life or into your social media, but things can shift pretty greatly.
One of the things that I absolutely love from that book, which I put in this week's content is Instead a lot often when people tell stories they go and then I went to the mall and then I went to this shop in the mall And then I saw this friend and then I bought this thing It's just like and then and then and then and then and and sometimes that's like my notness You're like when are you like is there a point to this you know So if you just replace the and then or and with like a however or a but All of it like that alone to the little tiny code goes such a long way.
It's like I went to the mall However, the store wants to go to a closed so I went to this store But I saw someone who I might not have wanted to say so it creates a little bit of like conflict a little bit of like tension in it Yeah, that's just one thing I want to toss out there works really really well especially while you're telling stories You know start to notice other people are just doing the and then and then then But adding a however Hmm Really nice Well celebrating you for hosting content consistently celebrating you for the
You know, 500 to 1000, like that is actually, that is good. Yes, you can you can definitely go above that at the 10,000 and above, but you are doing something right and it's just about, okay, what can shift to get you into that next level and 30 followers, you know, was that within this last week or since you started your account?
@30:24 - Kathryn
Yeah, it's a brand new account. So it's pretty much a week old.
@30:29 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Okay. Yeah. Well, yeah. Amazing. So yeah, even getting 30, mean, those are 30 people who watch your content was like, yes.
Like, yes, I want more of what she has to offer.
@30:40 - Kathryn
Right.
@30:40 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
if, if all it takes is the 1000 hardcore followers, hardcore fans who just like really love you, which if you have a thousand people, you can create a business off of that.
Thousands of people who are like, I love what she says, really like it. That's all you need. You don't need the million followers, the 100,000 followers.
You just need to. thousand people who just really love you. you know, 30 out of 1,000, that's a chunk out of it.
And just that consistency when you add different things, it adds up. So, yeah.
@31:12 - Kathryn
I remember you telling, like, try some different things out and see what people are liking. So I feel like each video is at a little bit of a different theme, but they all consistently get about the same amount of views.
So I'm like, okay, I have so many different ideas, so many different ways my brain is going, but I want to hone in on something that's, you know, connecting with people.
@31:41 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome. Cool. Yeah. Well, after this call, I'm going to suggest people share their social medias within our Telegram group.
So we can all start to see each other and follow each other. And then also, Catherine, if you do want to share one of your videos on this call, we can look at it.
@31:59 - Kathryn
And I can. I'm ready to do that. I still feel like I have a lot of learning to do with the editing and just, but anyways, I would love to share a video this time.
@32:10 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Cool. Awesome, thank you, And yeah, TikTok and Instagram, they are very different. The algorithms are different. They treat things differently.
The audiences are different. Sometimes you'll find TikTok works really well, Instagram doesn't work very well. There's not a ton of around a reason when it comes to all of that.
But my best bit of advice is just to continue the consistency, see what the vibe is there, see what the vibe is here.
You can start to create content specifically for Instagram. Like there are some text-based content that can be created, like for the divine union that Stephanie and I.
are doing, like, creating text-based, like, Canva-style content. just has words. can swipe through the different carousel of text stuff.
Like, that works really well on Instagram.
@33:14 - Kathryn
I actually recorded a three-plus-minute video, and I couldn't get it to go onto Instagram. How long was it? Like three minutes.
@33:24 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
And you couldn't get it.
@33:25 - Kathryn
on Instagram, was it cutting it off? It just wouldn't even load. It just kept, like, kept getting an error.
@33:31 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
So it's only on TikTok. Yeah, we'll make sure on Instagram that you choose a post, not a reel, if it's longer than 90 seconds, because they won't let you post anything longer than 90 seconds.
@33:43 - Kathryn
Did that, because I saw what the reel it has to be 90 seconds.
@33:46 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, could have been just an issue that they had in that moment, but I try again.
@33:51 - Kathryn
It should work. OK. Bye.
@33:57 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome. Who would like to go to the next chat? I can end for it the week.
@34:10 - Mary Grace
I'll go. I also had a slow week. I have a business with my best friend and his brother and we flip houses.
And so we had a closing this week and unexpected traction of interest on another house. So we've been doing a lot with that.
And I had someone here getting in touch with me because she thought her dog was getting ready to transition.
And I helped some people with pets too. So I went and spent some days up there. But then the dog made just a rebounding remarkable turnaround and is doing really well.
I have two accounts because I was originally going to sell crystals, but. I'm not one of those people. It turns out that likes to have to go to a post office a lot to sell packages, especially when they're this heavy.
It's just such an ordeal. So I'm thinking currently that my personal page that has 6,000 people, I think I'm going to use it for my death doula because a lot of people on that circle know that I'm doing that and they're very interested in it.
But the other account I'm thinking of making it more about my pagan interest and kind of letting one be more about life and death and manifesting and let the other one kind of express more of my personal interest and tarot and things like that.
But unlike Sarah, I had some people from my past that I really did not want finding me and it took me a long time to get comfortable putting my face out there.
And so when I first started putting my face on my account, I would make it friends only and then anything that didn't show me I would share publicly.
And when I decided not to sell from that account, because I was afraid that people would see me and then Try to buy something to find where I was because I have all these Real estate projects that people get confused about which one is where I live and I was like I don't want to give people like a track to what town I live in And so that's why I started the other account and then I thought what's anybody going to do for my past just see me on here being happy like so what you know So then I switched all of my videos to public and apparently it seems like when you change the status like that it pushes them back out again because At least when you do a batch of them because both times that I've done this There's been a big surge in people watching the ones that I changed the If I made it public a lot of people publicly saw it If I changed it to friends only it pushed it back out to my friends and people who missed it the first time would see it the second time and Comment and so What I did this week was I sat and wrote
some scripts out for some topics I want to do videos on and some of them I've come up with two different intros to see which one grabs people more and but so I went through and changed anything that like I play with filters with some friends of mine and stuff like that and so things that don't really express myself or what the pages about I changed it to friends only and I finally got I didn't realize how much I had posted but I finally got through all of that this week and it was actually really invigorating because I forgot how much fun it was like I haven't posted in a long time I've just shared like on this day that have come up in my history and I forgot how much fun it was and there was a post that somebody had shared where they wanted to thank me for my content and all these people were saying that like some a lot of what I had posted helped them through some times and stuff and so it really gave me like encouragement
to not worry about the fact that it's slow but do it when the time is right and when I feel like I can really commit to it and on my other account I think I'm going to have my links.
I started Kindle Direct Publishing and I made a dream journal and so it was just delivered to me this week and so I feel like on that one I want to do like more guided journals and things about like planners based on astrological seasons and moon times and stuff so I would give this week honestly an eight even though it was slow in the posting there was just a lot going on and I still made progress in a lot of different areas and feel really excited about where I'm going.
@38:42 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Beautiful celebrating your eight so that that journal is that something that you sell?
@38:52 - Mary Grace
Yeah it's on Amazon like you can just you design the covers and the inside pages and whatever and write a little like I wrote a little blurb on the back about it and stuff and then you can upload it to to Amazon for free and then there was already one that was sold like within the first day that I posted it to so and I've shown it to some people around here and they're really really excited I also want to do like coloring books like and crossword puzzles that's all about like manifestation words and stuff like that so I'm really excited but I had just learned how to do this right before I signed up for your class it all happened like within 48 hours so I'm just I'm super excited about that wow very cool very very cool congratulations on creating that thank you yeah sounds awesome I feel I feel like really excited energy from you when you talk about it which is just delightful and that's awesome yeah have you thought about making videos about the journal yet like talking about it sharing so yeah I think I will look
I shared it privately with people like through DMs on TikTok, they're all super excited and are like, tell me more.
And they know how long I've been wanting. Like, I'm working on a book, an actual book book, but this is a fun way to be able to go ahead and get some stuff out there and create in a different way, when I'm letting like storylines percolate or something like that.
So they've been really excited to see me going ahead and getting some stuff out there to sell. And I'm going to a book fair, and we're going to be talking about when my book is finished, they're talking about me being able to set up a booth there.
I'm going there to pop to them in September. that's like, that's my biggest passion. But I really want to use my TikTok account to really help people like change their perspective on death.
@40:44 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
writing is really my passion. Beautiful. Awesome.
@40:49 - Mary Grace
Yeah, got a lot going for you.
@40:51 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Thank you. Yeah, yeah. I can't wait until you drop that link in your bio and start talking about that journal in this excited way.
think people will will do. Okay, beautiful. Thank you, All right, who would like to go next? Kimberly.
@41:21 - Kimberly Trefz
Hey, everyone. Oh, my gosh, looks like I was a muta. hope I wasn't losing.
@41:28 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
No, at Okay, cool. I thought you unmuted yourself.
@41:31 - Kimberly Trefz
So I was like, all right. Okay, awesome. So this week was really slow for me. I am in the middle at work.
I normally work 32 hours a week and I've been working about 45 hours week. So that's all I've been doing.
And actually today was do the thing that finally everybody got their ducks and wrote for me to do my thing.
But I had, you know, I'm off on Mondays normally and I'm voting today because I had a plan for a month and a half.
So, I had a really good day. So I did get my books on the story writing, whatever that was called, and I'm excited to start reading them.
And yeah, like I know the Facebook isn't my place to be, I haven't even gotten on Facebook for two weeks at all, very proud of myself, not that I ever hung out there a lot, but I'm just like, no, just not even going to go there.
So, this week I'm going to create a TikTok copy count, I don't even have one yet. So, I would say I put no effort, I would give this week a two for me, would give it a two, I put zero effort, but I'm very excited to hear everybody's successes, it gives me hope.
So thank you all for sharing, glad to be here.
@42:51 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Beautiful and glad to hear your excitement, very excited for this TikTok count that you're going to create. Yeah, hope
Hopefully we can see some videos next week.
@43:05 - Kimberly Trefz
I forget. Would you suggest naming it your name or naming it something else? I forget what you had to hold us personally.
@43:13 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I would recommend naming it your name so that it's branded as you. It feels more personal if people are wanting to talk to you in the comments.
@43:20 - Kimberly Trefz
They can kind of speak to you by name.
@43:22 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Um, I have seen people who have been successful where their profile is just their brand and they're just kind of known as their brand.
so it really comes to like what your soul's calling is. But if, if someone was asking my suggestion, I would just say use your name.
@43:39 - Kimberly Trefz
Okay. All right. And then match in stuff with that as well.
@43:44 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Instagram and yeah, yeah, I would, I would match them up.
@43:46 - Kimberly Trefz
that feels like they're constantly working together. All right, sounds good.
@43:52 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Thank you. Yeah. If you would like to go next, free to unmute yourself.
@44:07 - Rhiannon James
I can go next. Can you hear me?
@44:10 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yep. I'm clear.
@44:14 - Rhiannon James
Oh great. Okay. I'm feeling pretty good this week. I actually made a video. So my focus is on YouTube.
And it feels a bit harder. So the video I made is 15 minutes long. And it took like five hours to edit.
So it was quite a bit of effort. But I hope that I can kind of cut it down into YouTube shorts to get sort of more views or more traction on the actual longer video.
At the moment it has 20 views. So it's pretty slow going. But it's a start. And to be honest, I probably wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for this group.
knowing that I had this call and I had to show up and talk about something I was like right let's just get it done so that's helped massively so I feel good for making a video for sure I realized I was watching your course Michael and I realized after I the video that I did the millennial pause at the beginning so that's something that I will be changing in the next one but something that keeps coming up for me is around the consistency I have a lot of resistance in me to being consistent showing up you know a certain amount of times or like having to be a certain way I think it is and it feels a bit like you're a slave to the algorithm or you know I have to do the work in a certain way otherwise I'll be not real
and I'm already in a country that TikTok doesn't pay you to, you know, once you're on a creative fund or whatever, like there's a lot of restrictions on me already and that doesn't motivate me very much.
I guess like Mary, I've got a book that I also am trying to sort of sell and have had some sales through, mostly through medium, but some through YouTube, yeah, I'm just trying to build an audience of that a thousand people that will support me and it feels a bit slow going at the moment, but I'm just trying to show up every week and do a video that I can chop up and put out there into maybe different platforms.
So maybe TikTok, but mostly YouTube and YouTube shorts at the moment. Yeah, so I'm about a six, I think, this week.
@46:57 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. What is your book?
@47:01 - Rhiannon James
It was, I did an 100-day drawing project last year and I had a lot of different drawing.
@47:10 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah. Okay.
@47:11 - Rhiannon James
trying to. And where you had to show up and draw for a hundred days in a row. And it was a really big deal for me because I don't identify as a consistent person.
And I had a lot of learnings throughout that 100 days of what it means to show up and what happens to you and like how it helped me to develop a habit or, yeah, kind of the insights that I got from that journey.
So I captured it in a book and also show all the illustrations, the good and the bad in that book.
@47:44 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah. Cool. Love it. Yeah. Sounds beneficial for people. And people love challenges, 100 days to do something, especially drawing, yeah.
Yeah. What is, what is your... as a tendency to to step outside of the YouTube platform.
@48:07 - Rhiannon James
Um, it's more, I think, there's no, not here's a tendency, like I quite am drawn to TikTok, not so much, um, the meta platforms, but definitely TikTok.
And like, I use it personally a lot, but for me, I think it's, it's about the volume, like it feels heavy and it feels not aligned for me to just pump out content, you know, three times a day or even every day, you know, that sort of, it feels, um, me.
I lean more on like what James was saying, sort of more quality over quantity perhaps or less is more, um, it, yeah, I, I find a lot of resistance comes up around the more, more, more, everything has to be constantly bombarded with more content, you know, to see what sticks and, um, it feels quite,
overwhelming for me. yeah, it pushes me away a little bit. think it feels like, I mean, it feels easier to make a TikTok because you can do sort of, you know, a minute or a couple of minutes long, but it feels like it has to be often and a lot.
And I don't think I can commit to that or to show up to that for a long period of time.
I'll just burn out.
@49:24 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, yeah, the TikTok definitely has that energy of like quick content, a lot of people creating content and a lot of it.
But there are so many different like corners of TikTok. Yeah, there's like the book side of TikTok and like the ballerina side of TikTok, the spiritual side of TikTok.
And not all of them are that like influencer quick make content. Everyone's just pumping out multiple a day. There's a lot of creators who they might be telling a story or doing a sketch or something that requires a lot more editing and acting and and.
time to put into that video. And I've seen some creators who create one piece of content every two weeks, but it's like really really well thought out.
And they get a lot of views on those as well. So just kind of opening your mind a little bit too.
There are areas of TikTok that might really love what you have to offer in the more long form and also in the more like not it doesn't need to be the algorithm doesn't celebrate you.
It doesn't do anything if you post consistently. In fact, I've found that the moments I've taken extended periods that's when the algorithm goes like let's send it out to everyone.
Either it was me with the break that I took and just coming at it with like fresh energy or the algorithm just wanted to celebrate me for coming back I guess.
So if you let's say hypothetically you created a version of your video that you posted to TikTok and it got 100,000 views and you were talking about your book and you got a bunch of sales from your book.
With that new sort of energy exchange, it might feel beneficial to also post another platform. But I want you to always just really tune in and just feel whatever feels best for you.
But there could potentially be some room for or maybe some desire for you on these other platforms.
@51:30 - Rhiannon James
Okay, thank you. Yeah, I had thought about that this morning. thought, oh, if I already had an audience on TikTok and they were listening and wanting to hear what I said, would that feel more motivating and 100%?
Then I'd be more energized to show up and kind of like go and talk to these people and show them things whereas it's not there yet.
So yeah, you have to build it and make it before it happens. So yeah, I think I might try that.
@51:58 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome. Yeah, finding our why is so important. You know for a while my why I was just like I just want to share I just want to see if it works I just want to see if I can go viral and then my why was I want to hit a million followers like I'm posting I'm posting my call to action is to follow me and Now my why is I'm creating businesses to actually support a family and all of that and That is that's what drives me, know, but then underlining all of that is like a really like passion Like I actually I love what I do.
I love sharing I love like first thing I grab my tea coming my laptop got my standing desk my light set up Scroll through the comments look for something.
That's interesting to me like that'd be fun to comment Okay, I'll do that and to make a video and try to make as interesting as possible and to help people like I absolutely Have a passion but like what actually gets me to say yes to it is what it my big why is So yeah sharing sharing those wise Um Awesome, yeah, thank you for sharing.
I appreciate hearing where you're at Just checking the chat I'm here. Repurpose dot oi is a company that for $20 will automatically upload your YouTube videos to tiktok cool yeah and then one thing just to think about potentially with automatically uploading it is sometimes tiktok doesn't like automation like having something scheduled in I found it doesn't like blacklist it but I have found that I've post the same videos because I was like I'm gonna make a backup account and I'm gonna take
All of the videos that I've currently created put it in the system that just automatically uploads all of them and I'm like it's just not doing as well as it was when I was manually posting it.
So that's just something to think of there Yeah and creating content it's like I was doing a lot of TikTok videos, but then I was like wait a minute What if I just posted all these to Instagram?
had a lot of hesitation to do it. I just not as big of a of the like vibe on that platform But I did it anyway, and now it's a really awesome stream of income where I get sales every single day from Instagram So I'm like thanks Instagram Yeah Awesome, so who would like to go next?
Susan Hello, can you hear me?
@54:59 - iPhone
Just started It kind of goes with my week, it goes with my week, I'm like, what are we going to talk about?
I'm like throwing around and like, oh, there you go. So my week has been very interesting in the sense of, I felt emotions and things that I don't even know if I felt for years, and I'm not sure where they came from.
So I was faced with things that are not normally in my sphere and wondering kind of a little bit like why they were there.
Like for example, I felt like depression and I was like, for a day or two, I was like, what is this feeling?
I don't even know what this is. took me a little bit. And I was like, I don't think it's depression.
I'm like, I don't think so. It was in there. Same with anxiety. But I was thinking about it. And I was like, I think it has to do with sitting in front of the computer.
I I'm starting to understand. what, because I was doing research to try to understand, right now I have thunder, it's so hard for me.
So I was kind of doing research to try to understand a little bit about the different concepts and what things people are looking at or looking for and trying to understand that aspect.
one of the things that I kept seeing over and over and I'm like, I can see why, I can totally see why.
Cause I was starting to get it from the concept of the computer, all that information from barge, from barge, barge.
So, then I was going to go into that thing that he said to talk to people and then it said, he wants a phone number.
Same thing with like TikTok or whatever. I don't know if it's TikTok, maybe it's Instagram. So, I don't feel comfortable giving that information.
So I'm like, okay, so what is my alternative? So I wanted to talk to you about what alternatives would be to do something like that.
And I was kind of wondering if there are all, now in this chorus, this is too much, funny, perfect.
I was wondering if there was a way to say something without me being on it, either a picture or writing something versus, say, a video.
I didn't know. Because I was doing a lot of different types of research on, because I'm not wanting to just put something out and not even know what I'm talking about.
I think it's maybe, you know, different people have different things. Some people could just say, I have friends that have like five hundred thousand subscribers, whatever it is.
And I'm sitting there taking pictures for them all the time. They're like, And I'm like, why are we doing this?
we're in a national park. What? Why are you on this phone? I'm going against the grain of technology at the same time trying to understand it, because this look coming up.
People with challenges or whatever are around it. So, oh my god, it's tailing. This is wonderful. But on this if I wanted to, nature is too funny.
So, I'm quite sure I didn't put anything out, because I didn't go on to those things. I can resonate with the fact of not being seen based on different life situations that I know people are looking for me.
So, I understand why I don't want to. And at the same token, I have like a million things I can talk about because I've had an interesting different experiences in life.
so, it's like channeling. What is? Um, wow. Um, Natalie, what is that, I guess, for a niche, uh, that's what I've been kind of looking at once, like the concept of a brand or the concept of marketing and the concept of putting it together, or a name.
So this way I have a purpose that I can, you know, a target that I can go for. If I don't have like an idea, then I don't know what to go for.
So I'm not the best at just, uh, if that makes sense. I don't know where you want, but. All right, back again.
Awesome. I don't know.
@59:51 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I don't know.
@59:52 - iPhone
But, uh, yeah, so I learned a lot about myself, um, that aspect. I've learned about now I have to figure out.
different ways versus I guess my question is for the followers and things like that it seems like mostly videos you get more attention I guess and you would if you wrote something is that true or not and then could you do a voice behind say something almost like a meditation or something like that yeah all great questions and then what what is your number you could give your decision well emotionally I would think it's a two but I think looking up stuff and researching I say I was doing stuff at least every day so I'm researching I'd say seven or eight I'm trying to understand the whole concept so depending on which part but I was doing work every single day trying to understand even understanding the different
generation of like a different audience, different audience, yeah, yeah, well, it's just like a celebrating year for naming the depression or whatever is that's coming up.
@1:01:13 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
A few weeks ago, I was experiencing something similar and I'm like, am I Like, I'm not really usually like a depressed kind of guy, but I was like, I was feeling like I was so then I started telling people I was like, yeah, I think I'm depressed.
And it felt really good just to like get that out there and to speak it and then process it and then go through it and like, you know, like lift myself up out of it.
But just to just to share it felt really good.
@1:01:40 - iPhone
And your question was, was it about phone numbers adding your phone number to one of the social media apps?
Well, yeah, because they ask for your phone number or maybe it was your phone number and your email or whatever.
I don't really want to do that. I was wondering to get around A for that.
@1:01:57 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
And yeah, I mean, TikTok. TikTok, you can. can add an email address if you don't want to do a phone number.
A lot of the social media apps at this point do require phone numbers because it keeps it safe so that people don't just make a bunch of fake accounts.
And also your phone number is, you know, they can look up your phone number to make sure that you're like, they there's ways like track who it is with the phone number, but it's mostly just to just keep it safe.
You know, depending on where you're coming from and your reason for that, personally, wouldn't worry too much about it, especially with the larger companies, like they're not going to be like selling your phone number to other people.
But some of them, you there may be times where you just can't get away from putting your phone number in those.
@1:02:44 - iPhone
Did you do like a track phone? Or no? Or do you have to do the work actually on the phone that you use?
@1:02:52 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
You could go to voice.google.com and Google lets you get a free phone number. and essentially it's an online phone.
You can receive text messages, you can make phone calls, and it's free. So yeah, I'm pretty sure you could probably use those.
Some websites do like recognize free numbers and don't let you sign up with them, but you could always try that.
@1:03:19 - iPhone
Okay, thanks.
@1:03:21 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, and as for not showing your face, there are lots of successful social media profiles that don't show their face.
There's some meme accounts. Like if you if you have a certain niche that you want to talk about, you can create a lot of text-based content on Instagram, works really well.
There are some on TikTok that are more like product review, things where maybe artists are showing their work and just talking.
There are people who show what's going on around them and just narrate something. So if you truly do not want to show your face, there is a there is success that people have had without showing their face.
@1:03:59 - iPhone
Okay, and there's there's something they call a facelift. So can you do something like say a meditation, but like a picture of some sort in front of it?
Yeah, talking through it.
@1:04:08 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, you could you could definitely do that. I would intro it with like this is going to help you, you know, relieve anxiety.
This is going to help get rid of your depression is going to help you fall asleep. People know like the purpose right away, and then you can go into meditation.
@1:04:23 - iPhone
Okay, and then you can put some kind of picture in front of it, like something that stands on the screen.
@1:04:28 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, you can. Yeah, in all of the platforms right now, you can create text based posts. So you just go in, you know, you choose that kind of post, you just essentially select all of the photos you want to add, and then it automatically would create it.
And Instagram and also TikTok lets you just do a voiceover. So you can just talk over it.
@1:04:52 - iPhone
I'm not using thank you. Yeah.
@1:04:59 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome. I'd like to go next.
@1:05:04 - Annabelle Kronik
I can go. Hello.
@1:05:06 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
How about over feeling better?
@1:05:09 - Annabelle Kronik
I am. Thank you. Yeah. Are we breaking our week? I missed the beginning.
@1:05:14 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Well, yeah, just giving yourself a number for like how you feel your week was how satisfied you were with your week.
@1:05:21 - Annabelle Kronik
And it's like super satisfied. Yeah. OK, cool. I actually feel pretty satisfied with my week. I would say I'm like eight, nine in terms of like satisfaction.
That's what we're measuring. I was sick all of last week. was healing something icky, but I feel like that's what I needed to do.
And so I let myself do that. And I am also happy that I could let myself do that. Because in the past, I definitely have not been able to let myself rest when I needed to until my body breaks.
So I'm happy to be resting. at earlier prior to completely breaking. So yeah, I took five days off of work, which I've never done in my life in a row for sickness.
I don't feel guilty about it. Again, which is new. I felt a little bit in the beginning. And then also with the challenge of us posting, I wasn't really posting.
So a lot of triggers came up as it sounds like it did for a lot of you who have shared.
So it's just been interesting to like let those rise and meet myself where I'm at and give myself that grace.
And it was so interesting because as soon as I did that, I actually started wanting to post. And I felt like that desired to post.
And so I posted three videos this week, two were kind of simpler like text on screen with some music.
And then one was actually a talking one. Oh yeah, I feel I feel more motivated to do more like longer talking ones.
My go-to safe t-net is kind of like a music trend, text on screen with some of my videos in the background, which is fun, but it doesn't really connect people with me and like who I am or like what I'm sharing as much.
And I feel like sometimes it's just like an easy way out, even though they're great to do. So yeah, I feel good about it.
I'm at work right now, so you know kind of on the call, but also here. So yeah, I don't know what else to say.
I would love any feedback on the video that I talked about, like on the post, but also wanting to respect everyone's time.
@1:07:51 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome. Well, good to have you here. Glad that you are feeling better than you were last week and celebrating you for taking some time for yourself.
Like, good for you. giving yourself space to heal, to rest, that's wonderful, you know, and as content creators, like our energy is very important.
It's like we we are the business, like literally our energy, our vibe with us, our frequency is the business is the marketing is the main character.
And sometimes it's just it's just about rest. And yeah, so we're really celebrating you for that and also for creating some content when you feel good to.
It's like, it's so easy to get into this like, here's how you do it. You've got to grind. You've got to create content every day.
And that's how you do it guys. But I don't think that's actually true. I don't I don't I don't know anyone who's done it that way.
They've always come from a place of inspiration and passion and bliss and and excitement. So, Yeah and yeah celebrate in your aid as well we will be getting into a few maybe two or three coaching sessions on videos so we will do that just after we finish our check-ins with Lorraine.
@1:09:22 - Lorraine
Oh well inspired by everybody's progress and I am I'm feeling pretty good hopeful and kind of anticipating and excited but I'm definitely in the baby steps like listening to trying to catch up on the content listening to some of that and even going back to like where are you gonna video what so what you're setting and and just learning even how to do that so but I have ideas and so I feel like it's always on my mind it was kind of
playing around with it. So I feel hopeful and I do feel motivated. I did get on a Zoom call with a sort of a techie friend that she was trying to tell me stuff.
know it have been over my head, but at least I made an effort. took some notes. Yeah, so I don't know, maybe six or seven.
And I am going to order that book story worthy. think that sounds like a great idea to focus on that.
So anyway, that's it.
@1:10:39 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Awesome. Have you signed up for TikTok?
@1:10:42 - Lorraine
I did, but I don't know why. have to wait till tomorrow. it asks for a nickname, don't know if that's the actual name.
@1:10:52 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Is that your name or is that just a nickname? Yeah, you could use your name. And sometimes it suggests a certain name.
@1:11:00 - Lorraine
But yeah, you can you can just drop your name in there Instead of a nickname because I did a nickname.
I said you can't change it for seven days or something. Oh, yeah Yeah Yeah, and something somebody said when you said tiktok has, you know Spiritual segment this segment best segment.
It's all one big thing. It's just that's the audience of People are those different diverse groups.
@1:11:27 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Is that what you were saying? Yeah, so that the algorithm Knows who you are based on the videos you watch what you like what you're sharing with people Videos that you create searches you've done so the the algorithm starts to get to know you if you follow a certain follower who is spiritual They're gonna be like, okay.
she likes that kind of stuff So it will start to give you content like that like it wants to entertain you So it needs to get to know you and because of that people start to get like blocked into like I'm interested in books and so tiktok starts to deliver them
book content.
@1:12:01 - Lorraine
Okay. Thank you. Yeah, it's very interesting how it's like, it's all one, but it, the intelligence, the algorithm creates these different communities.
Oh, I'm excited to play around with it. see how it goes.
@1:12:17 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I'm excited to see what you create. Awesome. Well, thank you guys for checking in. I want to do an extended check in today just because we are just starting out.
You know, for first full week and just want to see where you guys are at and what's going on.
So, here to celebrate you guys for doing it, you know, it is a lot of work. It is, you know, I should say a lot of work, but it is a lot of energy to like really like put yourself out there and feel comfortable with that, to start doing it or to post something and maybe it doesn't go viral and you put a lot of time and effort into it and, you know, there's a lot of stuff.
So, I want to be here for you guys and for all of us to be here for each other.
each other. And as I do share in the telegram group, if anyone hasn't joined the telegram group, make sure that you do join.
We got a nice little community in there. But I will have you guys post your social medias in there after this call.
And then you can follow each other and just encourage each other. And, you know, like people's stuff and you can bookmark it.
All of that helps the algorithm for people. So we're going to get into we have about 15 minutes left.
So we'll get into some coaching on videos. I know that Catherine and Annabel both said that they are interested, so since you guys already expressed interest, I'm going have you guys go first.
And then we might have room for another person. So let's start with So I'm going to put the link.

@1:15:06 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Okay, great. Did you know that the increasing chronic diseases of the U.S. such as diabetes, heart disease, dementia, depression, is mostly caused by your DNA, so you're inheriting them?
I don't know what things might be contributing to this. Thank you. Yeah, that was great. That was awesome. can definitely see why your stuff is getting.
It's reaching that next threshold. So how can you then get to the next threshold? I love that you made like a little skit out of it.
I love the humor. felt really good. I love the message as well. So starting from right at the beginning.
So even with this, it is like. I would in this part almost act like the person because right here, you're essentially saying something as if it's true, but then with the nose thing, you're saying all of that's a lie.
Right? it's almost like for here, you could, you could shorten it and act like the influencer who's like telling something.
from one. Like, we, and almost diabetes parts of these dementia, is mostly caused by your DNA, so you're in care to him.
And yeah, great, great. I love, I love that usually affects everything. So this one, you can bring a certain like energy, you almost want people to be like, what is she talking about?
Yeah, no, it's like, huh? you could, you could make it even more outrageous. And almost even quicker, like, like, it doesn't, let's see, what could, what could be something that just like, yeah, you could just make like a bold statement, a bold like false statement, that's just like, everything that's happening.
It's to you and your life. life, your body and your health is all only from your genetics. And like, you know, then do the, do the, the nose thing, like making it even more that impactful moment right in the beginning, because there might, there might have been people who quickly flipped away because they just thought, Oh, she's just talking about all that stuff, you know, like might have just thought you're serious that point.
So almost like making it even more outrageous and even more like quicker to get to that like, Ah, I get it.
This is hilarious. So that's what I recommend there. And then love that. And like, and here connecting even more with the viewer, like looking at the camera, like, I wonder what might be contributing to this, like almost like sarcastic, but also like, I'm about to show you.
Almost like amping up the acting even more just a little bit and then this stuff Love that you brought in the music at that point great editing there This also can be even a little bit quicker Like did it and then done So just like a tiny bit quicker, but it's like it's really good the way you did it I think with the intro even more like exaggerated.
I think yeah Even more people will watch it and let's hop over to the comments here So off Island says you're not wrong That's wonderful.
He laid it all out there. I started my change. Yeah, I blood work yikes That nervous system that looks like it might be a spam comment great appreciation.
Happy. Yeah, those two comments are spam comments So you could delete those They're then advertising some doctors. We're gonna help them with these things.
So Yeah, so that you're not wrong one that could be a good one where you tap and you hold it and you reply with video and you can create another like think like oh like you're not wrong like what I do with a lot of the videos is like if someone says like wow this is really interesting I will tap that and reply to the video with that comment because when people come to my video what they see is wow that was interesting and like in their mind they're almost associating like me now with being interesting so with this like they'll associate you with oh you're not wrong and so you can build upon what you're not wrong about in whatever creative ways pop up in your mind but what that also does is having that on the screen with someone's comment means like you are now a creator you respond to people's comments you've got people who are commenting on your videos and you will reply to them and that will have more people comment on it so yeah great
Great work, Catherine. Really, really awesome here. Yeah. Beautiful.
@1:21:07 - Kathryn
What? Some of my titles, I guess they are showing it, never mind. My first video is the one that got the most.
Yeah. didn't think it was very... My editing was pretty rough on that one.
@1:21:23 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, sometimes editing... It was probably most of the day. Ah, that's great. So here's my nurse tip of the day.
Like, you're immediately a professional. People love nurses and instantly it's just like, okay, well, what does she have to say?
In the latest video content this week, I go into that whole, like, are things you can say where people can't not keep listening?
Like, they need to know. And with, like, this nurse tip of the day... Nice. Okay, and then you get into health insurance and all of that.
So because that work, you could also say, like, here's my, you can, you can, you can start a series on my nurse tip of the day, you can try the same intro and talk about different things.
I'm not sure if you've made a video on that, that epic intro that you said to me, I think it was last week, which was, I think it was something like, like, I see hundreds of people die.
Yeah, yeah, that's a, that's a phenomenal intro and then having what you're passionate about after that is something I would definitely, I'd definitely try out.
@1:22:34 - Kathryn
Yeah, maybe I'll try that one this week. I'm trying different things out. Like I said, I have, I have so many ideas.
@1:22:43 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
So fun. Love it. I loved it. Yeah, I love your creativity as well. It's, it's awesome. And just keep it up, keep it up and keep refining it and, and once you find something that hits, you can use that.
I've seen hundreds of people die intro multiple times talking about all the different aspects of.
@1:23:00 - James Guiry
what the health system's doing wrong and you know all of that kind of stuff or however you want to get into it but yeah I love it it's great work anyone have a comment any reaction I would love to hear anybody's reaction to that yeah drop your reactions in the chat or if someone feels strong if they want to unmute themselves feel free no I like it I'll just say something it was good I like I love how you incorporated like the effects and then you switch to the the edits just like Michael said I would say I'm realizing this now is like short attention span theater for most people it's like the millennial like it's like what I watch this video was like the guy was just talking every second they would cut it it was I gotta show that I share the video basically is like you want to cut it right right in the beginning I would say like show the nose right away like you see something in the first second I'd be like oh what's this right you keep them going so I love it just cut condense it down
I just keep practicing. think that's we're learning here, but that was good creative. I like it.
@1:24:05 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
So it's good Beautiful and also I thought it was really funny your edits are good. good. Yeah, totally. can totally see you getting super big.
Yeah, same Beautiful. Alright, Stephanie and Wayne have to have some nice birthday celebrations that I had to take off.
And for some reason there was like cakes flying down the screen. I'm sure if you guys saw that. Awesome.
Annabelle, if you want to share your videos, feel free. Yeah, I agree to that.
@1:24:52 - Annabelle Kronik

@1:24:57 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I got it. Has she not, bro? Let's share this again. Has she not, bro? I have never been more sure that my internal perception of life shapes my external reality.
As soon as I shifted out of the fear and into the more like, okay, yeah, safe space that I created internally.
The physical color of the lighting changed just for my internal perception, bro. I love it. Okay, so just pausing it for a second right there.
I love the quickness. I love that you get into it. love you capture people's attention. And then, so what I would recommend is speaking to the audience initially.
and then getting into your story. So it was right here in the beginning, reality, as soon as I go of life shapes my external reality, perception of life shapes my external.
So switching that to your perception of life shifts your, you know, what you said, they're really adding the your and connecting deep with the camera.
And really like speaking to the soul of that person, that will capture their attention enough to then listen to this story.
So I'll keep that simple reality. As soon as I shifted out of the fear and into the more like, okay, safe space.
And then this, when you get into your story. So first, you, because people love to be told this bold clam, like you can shift, or you can make it even more bold and say like, you know, your entire life will change when you start to shift.
And like, here's what I did. And almost like when you get into the story, then about you, it's the like, I need to tell you.
about this because this shifted my life and it's it's going to help you. So then shifting back and like so what I did is like and then speaking to as if you're talking to your best friend, you when you like call your best friend up because like you have some huge news and something just happened that's the kind of energy you want to bring when you're sharing that story to to people.
Space that I created internally the physical color of the lighting changed just from my internal perception bro like nothing changed externally.
Everything's fine and dandy and I feel like the world is beautiful and then something inside me shifts and I feel this fear and I'm like oh my god like a second ago I was feeling fine and right now everything around me looks and feels scary and the people who I was just like vibing with I don't feel like I can trust anymore and I don't feel safe and then internally in my head I'm like all right I was kind of observing this reaction it's like drastic change and I was like okay hey girl all right take a deep breath
Okay, what's going on, what's happening, and what if, you know, you remembered how safe you just felt a moment ago, and I you not bro, I you not, the lighting in the room became warmer, like there was no change, no one changed the lighting, right?
it was exactly as it was, like physically, but in my perception of it, as soon as I shifted out of the fear and into the more like, okay, yeah, I am safe, of course I'm safe here.
The physical color of the lighting changed, like it became a little bit brighter in the room, it was like warmer toned lighting all of a sudden.
Cool, so this part here, you've captured attention on essentially saying like when things shift, like literally like your perception of reality shifts.
At this point, so you you intro, you give it to them, like your dada can change your dada, and you
then you go into the story of I was doing this thing and like literally my reality shifted based on what happened and then about three-quarters of the way through like around here maybe a tiny bit earlier like around like a minute 20 or so then I would shift it back to them to continue to interest so you could you could do something like so if you're you know if you're in a place and you're feeling like the vibes are off like you can always shift your reality you can step into a timeline you can you know then you start to give it back to them and there's like almost like an energy exchange there.
Things didn't look as scary anymore and that was just for my internal perception bro like nothing changed externally so I have never been more sure than my internal perception of life shapes my external reality than now so
I might have been obvious to you, but that was like, I knew that, but then I knew that. You know what I mean?
Woo! shake it off, bro. Love it. Awesome animal. yeah, great work on that video. Great work on the energy and just like the vibe, really fun kind of quirky vibe.
And yeah, to bring it to them is going to help bring that intrigue in.
@1:30:30 - Annabelle Kronik
I always, I have one quick question, but if that's okay. I just had, I've always been kind of wary of telling people like, this is how you can do X, Y, Z or this, this is how you need to do X, Y, Z.
What I found like a year ago when I was posting more that felt right was like, oh, this is what worked for me, felt a lot more authentic instead of like a, you need to do this because then if they do it and then they go.
back to me and they're like, you up my life. I guess that's a fear that I have. Especially when I start talking about things like, how do you connect with angels and our angels and spirits, because that can be a really scary place for a lot of people.
So what do you think about that?
@1:31:19 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Well, that, yeah, it's some soul searching, tuning in to how you want to share that and what you feel, how you feel comfortable sharing that.
There's a ways in which if you do want to bring it back to them, and I would recommend on a certain level because people want to see you as the expert.
And you could say, you could have a, you could start like a disclaimer, like, you know, this, this may not work for you, but it worked really well for me.
Here's what I did. And that, then like, let's go to the pressure of like, you know, you being this like all authority where like everything has to be perfect.
Like here's something you can try it may work for you It may not but it's worth trying and then you can you can try it just offering that like You know Openness yeah, totally get it.
Some people do take it way too far. They're like this is exactly it and you're like huh? You speaking about like if when you start to have clients Sharing about their experiences is also a really awesome way for people to feel connected to it Like oh if it worked for that person it could work for me without saying like specifically this will work for you Saying that I I help people connect to their angels I help people connect to their spirit guides That's also a great thing to say Because then you're letting people know like this is what I do I help people do this and when I was working with one person This is what worked for them You could add like if you are interested in
Like when I talk about past lives, was like, if you're interested in learning where you're past lives, here's something you can try.
Yeah, it's like more gentle words without being like, you know, yeah, any, any, like guarantees, it's going to be kind of weird, especially if it's not actually true.
Because yeah, not everyone is going to a past life regressions. It's not going to work for everyone. Um, some people just have blocks around that.
@1:33:24 - Annabelle Kronik
But yeah, that's helpful. Thank you.
@1:33:27 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, very welcome. Awesome. Well, we have hit our 90 minute mark. Um, but after this call, I want everyone to go in a telegram group post all the social media that you are currently active in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, if you do that.
Um, and let's all follow each other so that we can start to see each other's content appear in our feed and, you know, we can drop some comments in the chat.
We can even drop comments that are like asking questions. About like, you know, oh, what what what would you recommend Catherine?
You know, you can you can start comments where people can actually Start to reply to those with a video So here's a little a little thing that I do which is which is in that gray area Which is I will I have in the past created fake accounts that are just like user seven eight four nine six three Because I was like I want to create a video specifically about that topic But I want to reply to the video so I made an account and just posted a comment in my video Like with a very specific question and then I answered that question because that's just what I wanted to talk about So that's another thing you can try you can try to create an account to to post a comment in that To like specifically talk about that Yeah, so if you guys have any questions make sure you drop them in the telegram group If you guys have any wins share those in the telegram group as well
And the season says, good job with the videos, have to jump off at 6.30, awesome, amazing to get everyone.
Beautiful. And here we are, we are starting week two now, all the content is in there, I'll be adding some stuff here and there as well.
drop any questions that you have, and I'll hang out for another like five minutes or so, so if you guys have any questions, you can hang around.
Sending else so much love for this week.

Question, hey, Michael, on audio. So I have like the kind of roadcaster, they're wireless, plugging them into the microphone.
What do you use for your audio, are you just plugging that into your phone, the use phone?
@1:35:57 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
So for the majority of my videos, I've only used the... microphone that's on the phone.
@1:36:02 - James Guiry
Really?
@1:36:03 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah. Yeah, I try to get like the latest iPhones. It's like the latest one, the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
It's just got like great everything. Right now, like for this, I've got the blue, blue Yeti. Okay. And the nice, yeah, this, you know, it connects with USB-C and then these iPhones now have USB-C, so you plug in, it works instantly.
But yeah, I'll probably start to record some with this higher quality audio, but yeah.
@1:36:34 - James Guiry
Yeah, I have the old road cast, the old camera, and it plugs right into the iPhone. And it's pretty cool because you could be farther away and you get that audio.
But, you know, I like that you're not, like you're using, like you're just doing it. Like you're just like, you know, not a paralysis, paralyzed by like, oh, don't have this or that, and then never create.
like, oh, I just can record. like, so that I love that, man. It's, uh, I need to do way more of that.
So I'm trying make perfect.
@1:37:03 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, there's definitely some freedom there. There's definitely some freedom in, um, yeah, because I'm a perfectionist at heart. So it's certainly held me back, but there's a certain vibe on social media right now where the more casual nature also works really high produced content works really well and the casual nature works really well.
So yeah, I don't want anything to hold anyone back. It really comes down to the energy storytelling or just like the how intriguing what you post is.
@1:37:34 - James Guiry
Well, you record, like, say you'll do like a couple clips, save it. And then when you come back and add those little like, maybe like scenes, you know, like think of it like little acts, you know, or you'll do like, you know, two or three minutes and you'll come back maybe later that day and then rerecord or record something new and then add that part in there.
@1:37:53 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
you just kind of do it all at one time. The majority of when I post, I do it all at once.
Okay, I'm getting interrupted and we got to like quickly head out, then I'll save it in my draft and come back later.
@1:38:06 - James Guiry
Okay.
@1:38:07 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
But yeah, if I do, you know, I'll try to even then like, I record a video where I was like at my house and then the second part of it, I'm like outside and that scenery is different, everything's changed.
you know, people as long as you can, they can flow along with it, they don't they don't mind too much.
But yeah, usually, yeah, to see it's nice. But usually I try to just try to get it all done with the energy them in.
@1:38:33 - James Guiry
Awesome. Cool. Thank you. Appreciate it guys. Have a good weekend and it's our next good week.
@1:38:38 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
I'll see you next week, man. For sure.
@1:38:40 - James Guiry
Yeah, you too. Take care.
@1:38:41 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
All right. Yeah. Another thing you can do is if you have friends who are posting, if you have like friends around social media like, Hey, can you post this comment?
Yeah, replying to comments is so important. So having that in there as well. And yeah, I mean, that's incredible for automation, absolutely remarkable, yeah, they comment whatever you want, and then you can send them a link to whatever you want in the DMs.
@1:40:10 - Kathryn
OK.

Yeah, and if you do set it up for yourself, there's ways to either have a button in the Instagram message or a link.
Just post the link in its entirety. Don't use the button option, because Instagram has done something where it starts cutting off the button now.
So that's just a little thing.

OK.
@1:40:33 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
All right, thanks.
@1:40:34 - Lorraine
Yeah. One other little question. So do they automatically put numbers after your name, or is that?
@1:40:41 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah, they automatically do put numbers after your name, just to make sure it's unique. You can always go and change that.
You may have to wait seven days. But yeah, you can change it if you want.
@1:40:53 - Lorraine
OK, thank you.
@1:40:54 - Michael Armstrong ([email protected])
Yeah. Awesome.
@1:40:57 - Lorraine
We'll have a wonderful week.

You too. Take care. All right.
